i had previously been playing sims on my mac (through a USB)
however when i got a pc and now have downloaded the sims 4 i transferred my cc over from the USB.
but it keeps saying my mods/cc are corrupted. I am almost certain it will just continue until i end up removing them all.
PLEASE HELP ME I NEED CC
@Meadowxtoye Please transfer the files again, except this time, zip the folder they're in before moving it to the USB. On a Mac, right-click on the folder and select Compress. When the .zip is on your Windows PC, right-click it and select Extract.
If that doesn't help, try downloading a fresh copy of one mod or cc item and add it to your Mods folder alone, then see whether it works.

Since the last update (actually after the big announcement on the 18th) here is my current situation. I have a lot of CC content that I have found over the past few years. Now, I have ccs for hair, makeup and clothes (most of them). However, no cc works for wallpaper, flooring decorations and oh yes, the biggest gripe, objects such as beds, paintings, plants...I tested this out by going to the Sims Resource, downloading 5 items of clothing and two objects. After loading them into the MODs, the clothing was fine but no objects (a bed and a lamp). I am very frustrated as I use Sims 4 to relax and this is no anything but relaxing. It's not just one world either. Trust me I have tested this. So any help besides moving them out and testing each one again is very appreciated.
Are you using the TSR CC Manager? If you are, try uninstalling it and put your CC in your mods folder manually to see if it then shows up in game. There is a reported problem with it that causes CC not installed with it to go missing and not show up in the game.
