@taylorwalsh97 Please right-click on one of your custom content files and select Properties > General, and find the file path you see under Location.
Please also find the file path to the folder the game itself is reading. Here's how to find it:

If these two file paths don't match, that's the issue: your cc isn't in the folder the game is using, and you'll need to move your cc to the correct location.
If this doesn't help, or the cc is already in the correct location, please post a screenshot of the folder, as in, I'd like to see the list of files themselves.
For the missing saves, check the saves folder in the same Sims 4 folder where you've been placing your cc (before moving it, if in fact you need to move it), and let me know if you see any saves there. If you do, and you're in fact not using the same folder as the game is reading, you'll need to move your saves just as you need to move your cc.
