CC not showing up in game

@FormalFudge Try deleting localthumbcache.package, in your Sims 4 user folder.
If that doesn't help, please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Launch the game to create a clean folder, reenable mods and custom content, and quit. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Then move one mod that you know is updated for yesterday's patch—download a new version if necessary—to the new Sims 4 folder, and see whether it appears in-game. Let me know either way.
I tried both and the mods still aren't showing up (also thank you for helping (: )
@FormalFudge Please load the game to the Main Menu, click Load Game, and hover over the folder icon below the other info on one of your saves. You'll see the file path to the saves folder; please write it down here, or take a screenshot.
Please also take a screenshot of the Mods folder where you're adding your mods. Make sure to include the address bar, above the list of files and folders.

Thanks for the detailed steps! I followed your instructions—moved the Sims 4 folder, launched the game, reenabled mods, and tested with one updated mod. It showed up correctly in-game, so it looks like the issue was with something in the original Mods folder. I’ll gradually re-add my content to pinpoint the problematic file.
