CC Outfits & Furniture Disappeared After 11/1 Update

After the 11/1 update, none of the CC outfits I've placed on different families are showing and all of the CC furniture I placed is gone/replaced by basegame furniture. My script mods, like basemental drugs and , are showing in game just fine and I'm getting the pop ups upon game-start. In regard to the CC outfits, they aren't showing in-game nor in CAS. The CC itself shows in CAS, as in I can put a piece of CC clothing on them, but their previous skin details, makeup, hair, outfit, etc. is all gone. Instead, it's been replaced with underwear. Oddly enough, I've had separate issues with women sims' torsos disappearing altogether when I remove their shirt, as in it doesn't automatically show their naked torso nor does it show any base game bra. The game HAS, however, placed a CC bra on the sim. Everywhere else, however, there's no clothing, hair, skin details, makeup, nothing. I've also tried changing their outfit in-game, but all of the sim's outfits are deleted there too. In regard to the furniture, it is literally just as if I took out all of my furnture CC so they replaced it all with base game furniture. I've seen it do this before, but only when mods are disabled or something's happened to my mods folder. I've ensured the CC and script mods are enabled in-game, I've unchecked it and restarted the game, checked it once more and restarted the game, neither made my CC show up. I've removed the mods folder and opened the game, put it back in and reopened the game, and neither worked either. I've removed JUST my CC folder as it's a separate folder inside my mods folder and restarted, but that didn't work either. I've repaired the game, updated it again, and restarted it about 100 times. Nothing changes.

It sounds like you started the save without reenabling mods/CC and then saved. This made the change permanent. You need to recover an older save or apply all CC you used again.

  • This was it! I was able to recover the save file I needed and everything returned. Thank you so much.
