[CC Related] My sims won't eat, sleep or travel

I spent all this time designing a gorgeous home for my sims using CC and I got the high school stories and I was finally excited to age up a sim which I NEVER do. However when I started playing, my sim will go to the fridge for leftovers but will throw them on the ground and not eat, I also cannot get them to travel to another lot only move. 

I did remove the CC but that didn't do much as my whole house was gone. I moved them to a regular EA made home and it worked, they could eat and travel and all their normal fun stuff. 

so I added them back to the house and it still did not work.

I then took everything off of the sims like a previous poster suggested and repaired the game, played, everything worked. then added my stuff back and still no eating/sleeping/travel

I then downloaded the sims 4 studio and did a batch fix and that did not help 

I also downloaded sims 4 mod manager and it didn't say anything was broken. 

I'm at a loss, I really want to play with my new gorgeous house and age my sim up but I do not want to play without my CC, I've grown accustomed to it. 

any help would be great.
