CC still showing in game after deleted from mods folder?

Hi :smile:
Yesterday I deleted a lot of my custom content, I had over 300 files and now have less then 100,
after deleting them and starting up my game I noticed all the custom content I deleted is still showing up in my game and I'm still able to use it in create a sim, ect. Why is this happening? I want this custom content out of my game, help?
