Character Control UI Missing After Switching Households or Exiting CAS

Update happened. Logged in. Wanted to play a different household, so I went to Manage Worlds and chose the new household. None of the UI at the bottom of the screen was visible. Nothing happened when I click on anything (no menus showed up). Entering and exiting build mode changed nothing. Didn't save and exited the game. Reloaded. Same thing happened when I switched households again. This time, I saved before exiting and reloading. UI was there. Entered and exited build mode with no issue. Entered CAS to update the character's outfit and when I exited, the UI was gone again. Help?

    @ProblematicDemon Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. If that's working, you know a mod was your problem. Broken/Updated Mods & CC provides a good start point for solving that.

    Narrowed it down and found out it was UI Cheats Extension mod by weerbesu that was causing the problem. Deleted those files and it's all working fine now. Thanks for your help! I didn't know about the cache file, so that helped

    Same thing happened to me, but I use console... Weird. Happens when I switch to build mode too. And the holidays don't show up anymore. For me, I think it's caused by that annoying grim reaper event... Smh
