Children/teens not staying at their desk to do their homework

Hey, Very stupid "issue", it's really not a big deal but I'm really curious to know what's happening in these sims' head. I like to have children and teens do their homework at their personal desk,...

@Edahel     Hello!  Oh how I wish I knew why sims do what they do!  lol  Do you have autonomy set to full?  I also have my child and teen sims sit at their desk before telling them to do homework.  However, I have autonomy off and they always stay at their desk until they're done.
