conflicting block clusters - get rid of this!

I am trying to build a ramp using a roof (since EA doesn't have ramps, which they should) right next to my house that has a foundation and steps.  It won't let me because of "conflicting block clusters" and "roof must be built on an even base."  The only way around this is to get rid of my foundation and have my house level with the ground.  I don't want this!  I have also tried lowering the house to ground level, then connected the "ramp" and then raised the house back up.  However, when I do this, EVERYTHING raises with the house!  Even my sidewalks, garage and ramp!  Again, I do not want this!   I have also tried using platforms as a foundation and as soon as I place the walls onto the platform, the platform disappears and is replaced with walls.  I also want my sidewalk to go right up next to the house, like most sidewalks in real life do.  Why can't EA fix this so we can do more with different levels?  This seems to be a big issue, as many people are having the same problems.  There's the bb.moveobjects on cheat that allows us to move things in places that otherwise wouldn't allow us to, so why can't there be cheat to also ignore the annoying "block clusters" error and "roof must be built on an even base error"??  Or EA should add ramps to the game, like with the stairs.  That would sure be helpful, as long as we don't get the same stupid errors.

Yes, I was trying to build the ramp directly next to the foundation.  I found a ramp mod.  Problem solved.

    Hey @savedasims

I've moved your post over to The Sims 4 boards.

Are you trying to place this ramp directly up next to the house? Build mode can be a bit restrictive with using roofs and platforms, so the ramp would need to be placed at least one block away from the house in order for you to keep the house foundation and the ramp working as intended.

Instead, you could extend the front porch out a bit, and extend the tips of the roof to attach it to the porch to get around this limitation. I've done a quick mock-up of your build to show you what I mean.
