Constant kitchen fires. Bug?

Question

For a while now my Sims have been unable to cook very much because the stoves catches on fire almost every time. I have tried updating game and mods, tried different stoves, tried upgraded and non upgraded stoves, tried with Sims with level 10 cooking....nothing works. Is there a known bug or issue that I haven't heard about? Any one else experiencing this?&nbsp;

@LeTangerine  Do your Sims have fear of fire ? There's several causes for this issue but the fear of fire is currently the most common one. (any Sim in your household)
