I don't have the pack yet but the world will not show up at all in my world map. You don't need to own the pack in order to see the preview so it's defs an issue with the world. I was going to buy it but certainly will not now unless they fix all of these massive issues

I have the same problem as hopeformee where I have not purchased the expansion pack yet, but Copperdale neighbhorhood is missing from the list of destination worlds. Why is this problem still unresolved? Is clean install the only way to gain access to Copperdale from the list of Destination Worlds? I would hate to reinstall the game, but I already tried out various different methods that ultimately failed including me validating all files from The Sims 4 repair from Origin and launching from there instead of clicking on The Sims 4 icon like I normally do, deleting the thumbnail cache, temporarily removing all mods, and even temporarily moving out the mods folder and the saves folder outside of The Sims 4 folder, but none of that worked for me.

It is strange that some people are seeing Copperdale among their list of neighborhoods that can be travelled to, but not me. After reinstalling the game, removing all files from The Sims 4 folder before uninstalling, doing a file integrity verification on steam in addition repairing on Origin, and moving out my tray, mod, and save files I have come under the conclusion that is in fact a bug. When I started a new save from reinstalled game before adding the tray, mod, and save files back into the game I could still not see Copperdale. (The screenshot shown above was taken today on August 3rd, 2022 after I reinstalled the game.)
@Zebullan I just checked on a computer that doesn't have the new pack installed, and I see the same thing. I tested both in an existing user folder and a new one. I don't know whether it's intentional or not, but it's kind of a moot point since the world should be locked anyway.
Point is, it's not a problem with your computer or your game data.
I showed you the screenshot from August 3rd, 2022. Why then is Copperdale absent and does not reveal itself as a locked world since I have not purchased the pack yet? I do not want to waste my money only to find out it is not available for traveling to even after it being unlocked. Not only that, but Discover University which I do not own yet is listed among the list of expansion packs from the gallery, but high school years is absent from the list (although, the icon for this expansion pack does appear for some of the newest households, lots, and rooms despite not being listed currently for expansion packs).
If I purchase the pack despite the fact, it is not showing up as a locked world it would be best described as a gamble in hopes that the absent neighborhood will somehow magically appear if I purchase the pack. I do get however, that this new pack is bugged such as sims entering buildings without permission might be related to the expansion pack instead of basegame since my sims knock as normal but have seen this from highschool years (which to prove my point about this I have seen sims doing this from youtube videos about this expansion pack), report of sims asking strange questions that normally is not allowed such as asking to be a best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend that negatively effects a relationship if denied (despite the fact only one best friend is allowed per sim instead of multiple sims), and social bunny even if it is not bugged anymore being best described from reports as controversial even it was possible for traveling to the new neighborhood after purchasing the expansion pack. The bugs might be off subject since this thread is "mod related", but just to prove my point since it does relate to the Highschool Years expansion pack only.
@Zebullan I just downloaded HSY on the computer where Copperdale didn't show up as a destination, and now the world is available both for new saves and for traveling. So I wouldn't worry about that.
As for the other bugs and issues, it sounds like you might want to wait for the next patch, whenever that happens to appear.
That is good to know, puzzle addict Hero. Also, the sims entering buildings without permission could be mod related instead of bugged when I come to think about it that in theory (but not 100% certain about this) might be closely related to the "no doors bug". Social Bunny is not bugged anymore or at least not that I am aware of, but may still be controversial to some players. Not sure if sims asking to be friend or boyfriend girlfriend is a bug or not, but that does not seem to be anything too major or game breaking even it is annoying and completely unnecessary to at least some players. Are there other bugs as well? Perhaps (such as graduation bugs, prom bugs, and etc...), but those were the first three that came to mind could be bugs or at least an annoyance from this expansion pack.
Can anyone confirm that entering buildings without permission is mod related caused by the basegame update instead of an expansion pack bug? My sims knock on doors as normal, but I also do not have the high school years expansion pack yet either (which as mentioned before I have seen this problem from youtube videos as well that recently got this expansion pack).
I have also had this issue where the world doesn't show up and the option to see builds on the gallery with HSY items isn't there either! Have you found any solution?
