Corrupted Lot

I have 3 specific lots in Oasis Springs that are corrupted. I am able to load and play all other lots and households without issue, but these 3 specific lots have given me multiple issues.

The first issue that I ever encountered with these lots was that the image being displayed on the Manage Worlds screen was not accurately displaying the actual build that was on each lot, it was showing up as old builds that had previously been on those lots. I was also not able to save any of the builds that were on these lots to the gallery. I assumed this was due to outdated or broken CC, but I did not originally attempt to repair this as it was not affecting my gameplay in any significant way, just the aesthetic of the map. I continued to play my game with this small bug for about a year, but I ended up being able to resolve this issue about a week ago when I got a new desktop set up. I resolved the issue by removing my Mods folder from my Sims 4 documents, loading the game, entering the affected lots through build mode on the Manage Worlds screen, and then exiting back out to Manage Worlds. Once I did that the map was now properly displaying the lots! Even after adding my Mods folder back to my game, the lots still appeared correctly on the map, so I did not play test the affected households right away as I assumed they would still be working fine. Now that I am actually trying to play the households, I am noticing that I am not able to save my game or exit back out to the Manage Worlds screen once I've entered the lot. I get stuck on an infinite loading screen when I try to interact with the lot in any way, even when I try to replace/ bulldoze the lot from the Manage Worlds screen.

I have tried countless methods trying to resolve this, but have not been successful so far. One thing I did right away was move out the households that were on the affected lots and play tested them on other lots, which worked fine, so I can assume the issue is not due to any CC that is on my sims. I have also tried repairing my game via the EA app, and have done all available batch fixes using Sims4Studio. Another method I tried was bulldozing the lot by moving in a new household from the Manage Worlds screen. This did successfully manage to bulldoze the lot, but even after bulldozing the lot, once I entered the lot itself I was not able to save my game or exit back out to Manage Worlds without getting stuck on the infinite loading screen. I am not sure what could be causing this as even when I placed the new household and build that contained NO CC the game still would not allow me to save or return back to the map. Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated as I'm worried that this will eventually corrupt my save that I've had for almost a decade ☹️

  • @crinrict I was finally able to solve the issue!! Once I heard back from you that you were able to play the save file without any issues I knew it had to be broken CC or mods causing the bug. In the past I had tried to do the batching technique to find the problem but was not successful. I finally had time to sit down and go through everything in my Mods folder one by one, and even though it took practically a full day, I finally found the culprit deep in sub folder. It ended up being some strange file called Mizore NoFadeEverthing Allpackscombined, I don't even know what it is or when it got into my mod folder but once I took out that one singular file everything has been working perfect since then! 🙌 thank you so much again for all your help!!
