Corrupted Lots

Question

For the past few months I have been running in to a lot of lot corruption. Specifically with rental lots and the Stonestreet Apartments in Evergreen Harbor. It seems as if I have "too many" gallery lots or one too many sims in my world that's when the lots will become corrupted. It doesn't even seem like I have that many builds or families in game. I have never had this problem until a few months ago. Is anyone else experiencing this? And is this something that I can fix?

Yes, I play with mods and CC.

abrokencamera​ Mods/CC generally don't cause lot corruption, but please do test if renaming the Mods folder and deleting localthumbcache lets you load them again. The main causes I know for lot corruption are too many rental units in your save and specific lots in the Gallery.

this is an ongoing issue that they're not fixing. i don't know if its an impossible fix or what, but it is extremely annoying and disappointing. its been going on for months.
