@annaherzberg Some furniture placement issues can result from outdated copies of an 18+ mod not supported here. Check all your mods that might involve illegal-in-the-US activity for updates.

If you have no such mods at all, please upload the actual last exception file.

Also, does this happen in a vanilla test? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

@luthienrisingthank you so much for your reply! I tested it without mods and the bug still appears. I updated all mods and deleted the ones that haven´t gotten updated yet and I don´t know what to do at this point. I screenshoted the Better Exception report and attached it to this reply because this site doesn´t let me upload the complete html file.

@annaherzberg I'm aiming to determine if this is a mod issue or if you need to be moved to a different support area.

Did you get a last exception file when you did that? (obviously, you wouldn't get a BE report because you'd have removed it).

Did you test only in the same house, or in different ones?

Hi! I tested it on multiple lots and always got the same exception. I did the vanilla testing method twice and the second time it worked and I didn´t have issues, so I guess it's a mod. I just cannot figure out which one 😶

The strange thing is, when I'm starting a new save it works completely fine, but as soon as I switch back to my main save, I'm getting the exception. I'm just lost and don't know how to fix this.

Start with the Broken/Updated Mods & CC lists. If going through those still leaves you with the same error, it might be the result of a mod with an older update or a mod that isn't covered here (such as an NSFW/18+ mod). Instructions on how to narrow a problem mod down are here: 50-50

I have the same problem only when I try to change the appearance of a sim through a mirror. I don't get an exception in the new save, but I switch to the main one and get the cpp_message exception.
