Hello,
I was happy to see that Curseforge can now be used for the Sims 4 on Mac. I installed it, but I was disappointed because I encountered a problem.
I play the Sims in French, and inside the "Electronic Arts" folder in my documents, my save files folder is named "Les Sims 4". The problem is that Curseforge creates a new folder named "The Sims 4" to install mods, so I can't see them in game as it is not the active folder for me to play...
Does anyone knows if there is anything I can do in Curseforge to switch names from "The Sims 4" to "Les Sims 4", or in Origin, to change my save file directory name from "Les Sims 4" to "The Sims 4" ?
I do not know if this is any issue only related to Macs or if it is also the case for PC, but I couldn't find any corresponding topic, so I guess it might be a Mac-specific problem, as Sims 4 in Mac Curseforge has been available for a few days only...
Also, Curseforge finds so many instances of the Sims 4 on my computer, with various "numeric" references, and in various locations (14 in total, see attached screenshot) ! I am wondering if that could also create a problem.
Thanks a lot for your help !
Edit: I have also contacted Curseforge for support on that problem.
I think you can manually define the file path in the settings. But even after I did that (in English) CurseForge insists that all the mods I got off CurseForge aren’t supported by CurseForge so I can’t actually do anything with them in the app - certainly no updating or organizing. Just view them. All together in a jumble. All labeled with their file name and a not-supported-by-CurseForge standard thumbnail.

Which settings are you talking about? The Sims 4 settings or CurseForge settings? I can't find it in any of them, so if you have an idea, I would be happy to know! I was thinking that there might be a command line parameter to launch the Sims 4 to do this? But so far, I didn't find anything about it.
