Custom content hair turns very grainy after new update

My Custom Content like hairs, skin etc have become grainy. Just seeing like all these little holes really makes me uncomftable/anxious/scared (Trypophobia). I know the new update did something with the graphic settings, and that might have been what messed up all the CC since they worked perfectly fine before. I know its not my mods since I've done the 50/50 method multiple times since this update.
Since this update is new I doubt that the creators will go back and fix all their previous content. I don't know if I can change my graphic settings or if Sims 4 Studio could be of help here, but i don't know how. If anyone has figured this out with some sort of Setting or via S4S. Please let me know. Thanks in advance!
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
It's not a broken mod or something you can remove from the mods folder to fix. The creator of the CC needs to update the CC and then the CC needs to be deleted and replaced.
This is rather difficult to fix due to the fact that most mod/cc users have thousands of CC in their mod folder and this means tons of hairstyles. Finding the name of the hairs that are broken is a brutal task alone because when they are in our game they don't come listed by creator or name, they just show up. Sometimes there is a tag on the thumbnail for the creator, but still. This means having to recognize and remember the hair styles that are broken and checking if the creator updated it, if you use thesimsresource and have VIP you have a TSR manager to install and sometimes update the CC, which still may mean finding the hairstyle name in your mods folder, deleting it, reinstalling it. But this means remembering that the hairstyle is broken in the first place. Removing the mods folder isn't going to help.
What i usually do to identify cc is using Sims 4 Tray Importer. You can create a "test" family, give them the cc (clothes, hair, makeup or whatever), and the save the family. Open sims 4 tray importer, select the saved family, and it will list all the cc equiped, with a preview, where it is located in your mods folder etc... Very handy. I hope it helps 🙂
