For a while now, I've had issues with Debug Items always being visible. I used to have the better build buy mod but have sense deleted it. I even tried to reinstall it to possibly fix the issue or just reinstall the game entirely. But nothing seems to work. This is causing my Build/Buy sections to be extremely messy all the time and harder to locate certain items.
The only mod I had was better build/ buy. I have since deleted it completely because of all the recent updates and how buggy it got. And yes I have tried those as well and nothing seems to work. I even went as far as uninstalling my game and reinstalling it multiple times.
SimpleSimsie When you reinstalled the mod, did you turn off the setting before removing the mod again ?
Did you also try renaming the user folder and just copy your save games back to the new folder ?
hi! i had this issue too after the latest update! originally i went into build buy and made sure i had all of the better build buy mod's features turned off (debug, move objects, ignore unlocks, etc) then uninstalled the mod which didn't work. then after a bit of trial and error, i realized you can also turn off the organized debug all together in the build buy menu. after ticking organized debug off, restarting the game, THEN uninstalling the mod all debug items were hidden again! hope this brings some help! (not sure if you have to relaunch the game after turning off organized debug and before uninstalling the mod, just what i did)
Hi, please help, I'm having the same issue. I reinstalled the mod but the button for organized debug wasn't there so I wasn't able to turn it off. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the sims and it is now on an external hard drive. I have not tried to reinstall the mod and have a feeling it won't work yet again...not really sure what I'm doing, and don't want to mess things up further (game won't access previous saved games from a backed-up save file, lost my Bin file). Show hidden objects does not work and my game doesn't show any debug items at all, any suggestions?
Ageless_Cobweb51 Moving the game and trying to also move the user files could be your issue, as you have files not being seen. Head to PC or Mac tech support https://forums.ea.com/category/the-sims-4-en
