About This Thread This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game update 1.122, March 17, 2026, and the March 18 and March 23 hotfixes, or declared unsupported by their creators. After the 3 March Updates Again w/ Missing CC
I was part of the 2% that was unable to load after the March 18th update. After the March 23rd update, I was able to load and play with all previous CC & MODs installed. Today, after loading my game, I can no longer see the CC on my home screen. I originally thought that I had accidentally saved without my CC installed and that was the issue. After loading into former saves, I could see that the game did in fact have all of my CC loaded (both Build/Buy & CAS) it's just not using it all. I started dropping in lots from my Gallery that I had built myself, and now I am missing 58 items. I go to a different build, and the same thing happens with a different odd number of items missing. I double-checked the required items are downloaded and installed into the correct folders and they are. This is also happening with packs that I own. The Gallery will say I own all items needed, but once placed, it will say I'm missing items. I own all but a few Kits along with the newest Royalty pack and have a considerable amount of CC. I am certain after the last week, having spent it combing through my CC & MODs, that everything is up to date and current. I do not have or have had BBB installed. I am fully out of ideas.
Note to New Players Experiencing Problems
I am noticing quite a few new players posting and thought I would post some helpful info incase you haven't seen posts like this before. If you haven't opened your game yet, don't! Go into your EA folder-->Sims--->Saves. Copy everything from your saves and back it up somewhere else (e.g. your desktop, online drive, or external hard drive). This will preserve your data pre-update. If you HAVE gone into your game or do choose to go into your game, whatever you do, DO NOT save your game if you are missing content or experiencing issues. If you haven't saved anything after the update, do the same as above. If you do have access to your game and you want to play, I highly suggest not touching your current saves, start a new save until all issues are confirmed fixed. This can be a good time to build without CC and if you like anything you have built, you can save it to your gallery to then place in a save you are actively playing when things are fixed. If you do not have access to the game and want to play, move everything out of your mods folder and you will have access, just without CC/Mods. I recommend doing the above mentioned in this case.Imaginary Friends Issue
Hello, I got this pop up in the attachment yesterday. I was in build mode. I found out today that it was a bug related to Imaginay Friends. I do play with mods, but none of them to my knowledge has to to do with imaginary friends. Or it could be another mod that effects this. Anyway, since I am a rotational player, I wasn't planing on using Imaginary Friends for this household. But there was another household that I played with a few days ago (In the same save), that did.
Tmex Better BuildBuy Issue
Hey everyone, I recently installed TwistedMexi's BBB mod and accidentally deleted it without turning off organised debug. I have tried everything that their patreon and other platforms have told me to, and nothing has worked. I've tried installing it again and then uninstalling it the proper way and deleting the localthumbcache.package file. The mod was originally working before and was not in any subfolders. I also do not have any other script mods downloaded, so I am really stuck with what to do here!! Hopefully some of you have experienced the same issue.Game Loading in Progress
I load into my game, but where build/buy and the gallery is it says "Game loading is in progress." I've been playing the Sims for a very long time, and this has never happened to me. I already repaired the game and took all my mods out, which didn't help. This wouldn't really be a problem except I can't travel or save. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, it would be much appreciated.
