Default replacement Alien eyes not working. CC skin not working either

I use default replacements for human sims and all occult sims. I have recently noticed (no idea when the issue actually began) that my game isn't using the default cc for alien eyes. Sims I have already made don't have this problem. They still show their cc default eyes (and their cc alien skin, not default). However when I create a new alien in cas, they have the brown EA texture eyes, there is no option to change the eye colour, and also the cc skin colours are missing from the skin colour chooser. I also had an infant age up to a toddler and his black alien eyes became EA brown with no option to change. I have tray importer and I checked what cc was showing up for a new alien I made, and there is no sign of the alien pulling the cc alien default.

I have tried removing the alien eyes. Still EA brown eyes for aliens. I've tried redownloading the default. Still EA brown. Only when I removed all defaults did actual alien eyes show up again.

The cc skins also show up for human sims (they're supposed to) but not aliens.

I found a post similar to my issue and followed the steps someone gave but they did nothing for me. The only thing it did is turn my alien kids with cc skins into a void. I use noodles sorbet skin colours so there should be an extra 76 colours in miscellaneous but there's none

  • Hi @SianAF148. Some default Alien custom content was made no longer compatible by the latest patch because of code changes, and many default eyes became uncompatible earlier. If you use Kijiko EA Eyelashes remover, update that. Otherwise, do a general check for updates to eye mods and mods that affect the UI for other reasons.

Is there a program that I can use to fix them? The creator who made these default eyes and the non-default skins are no longer active. So I have no hope of them fixing it themselves. I have multiple alien sims who use the additional skins and alien children with the default eyes now have that odd reddish-brown eye texture.

In the past I had fixed all of the default eye issues myself with CMar's skininator, and their default fixer for the eyes, but those aren't doing the job now

@SianAF148 Sims 4 Studio's next update might add a batch fix for them. In the meantime, I did see a post on Tumblr from creator amethystamanda about how to update the new Alien coding manually in Sims 4 Studio.

kay thank you. Do you know by any chance what EA changed to make this happen?
