@MelodiiRenee First, always, always download your content from the creator, not a third party source. This is really important for making sure you have the most recent version of a file. There is a LOT of old, broken CC on the internet. And you'll find more of it if you're not at the creator's site.
Second, you may have duplicates, Zip or .rar files, Sims 3 files, or outdated/broken files in there.
When you redownload your content, add it to the game in batches not all at once. This will help you find content that's outdated or that doesn't belong for some other reason.
I also recommend keeping an eye in the future on the Broken/Updated Mods lists here. I include CC on them when newly broken things come to attention.
