@XxtaihanaxX You say you have different saves that you load ? To be sure, you're opening the correct save that is supposed to have these households ?
Each save is different.
Each save is different.

@crinrict By the way, when I was rereading your reply, you said that each save is different. Can you explain this to me please? I'm confused

Yeah, each save is starting fresh with the default houses and families you get with the game, and changes you make only affect each individual save. You can set up Newcrest completely differently in each save, for example. If you have Island Living or Strangerville, those are set to their default states with a new save.
If you want all those families to interact with each other, they need to be in the same save.

Oh what the heck, I didn't know that! I honestly thought that like the saves would be all in one save, not differently
- crinrict4 years agoHero+@XxtaihanaxX Let's do an example to make sure we're on the same page here.
Say you have two save games, let's call them Save A and Save B.
In Save game A you have three families called X, Y and Z
In save game B you have two families called P and Q.
If you load into save game A you should of course still have families X, Y and Z but not P and Q as those are from Save game B.
Same if you load into save game B you don't have X, Y and Z but you do have P and Q.
So if you don't have X, Y; Z in save game A, something is potentially wrong. There's neighborhood stories now so if you have those enabled and play rotationally, the households could have moved out or died but you should still have the houses they lived in.
There's a few issues with missing houses and resets.- 4 years ago@crinrict Ohh, yeah I somehow realized that. Like what you said is correct and I have been confused for a long time thinking it's some weird glitch. I'm used to playing one save, not two. Thinking back to what you said last night, I somehow caught on and figured it out. This makes sense. Thank you!
