Hi, I made it work!
I had a talent show in the club Calico so, some game days before I went to edit and make that lot a standard one instead of a pub! The event disappeared from my calendar and when Saturday came prom popped up! That simple! (I'm still in awe it actually worked)
Just FYI I do have mods, including mccc, but as far as I know, they are all updated.

Yes, it didn't appear in the calendar at all even after the talent show disappeared, but I got the invitations and everything else seemed to work fine, I even got an after party.
I haven't checked yet, if that will work for graduation too, as I'm not that far in the game.

I did it too but when i got back to my household all my sims aged up, now i have to figure out what save to delete :/ wish it did work
