i couldn't live without mods and CC. i tried vanilla for years, i couldn't do it any longer. the more CC the better.
This feels like me too  . It's funny thinking about it though,
- 25% Hairs (mostly for Vanilla hairs and some really good of maxis match ones...since there's no strawberry blonde)
- 25% Separated Vanilla Beds(like all Ep/Gp/sp) frames, and other edited furniture to make variety a whole lot easier (luckily these rarely break).
- 25% Furniture(Like almost everything, beds, clutter, couches, everything plus the kitchen sink  )
- 25% Clothes (there's just not enough solid colors...and it really gets to me sometimes...I knoow I'm a fashion queen but urrgh lol)
CC has now taken the place of Cstyle  and there's tons of choices so far in my game (951MB). Most of it looks pretty Maxis Match-ish.
As for mods:
- MCCC: I can't live without it, It brings randomness and story-progression to a whole new level <3. And yet in the same token it gives me just the same amount of control win/win
- Reshade: The one thing that always kinda bugged me about TS4 is it's lighting sometimes and at times they just never seemed as colorful as I thought they would be. Since the dawn of it's launch I used a bunch of lighting mods, and they were good for dark places (like when indoors were realllly dark), but I was always looking for something a bit better. My hubby played skyrim, so I always heard about enbs and stuff. But whooa, Reshade on TS4 is beautiful, and I dunno how I played without it. <3
