I’m trying to place a door in between levels/floors. Both sides are connected on the same level by a platform but the problem is the wall showing through the door. Is there a way to fix this? Or is it just another game limitation, like with the windows..?
Unfortuantely it's not designed to be across levels - you can't fix it, it's just a limitation
@VelvetLilys I'm not sure if this will be of any help, depending on what your building goals are in your home plans, but I thought I would share a (rather clunky and somewhat long) video I made at one point for someone who was trying to reproduce a set of stairways, open areas, and door exits on various floors (somewhat like the HogWorts building). https://youtu.be/f1KrGsx2ako
This was before platforms came out, and with platforms you may be able to have additional fun with the inner stairway passages, but as @Coley666 correctly stated, you can only have exits with doors at floor level. There are so many possibilities, though, and you can have some fun with it for sure. You may want to keep a Sim on the lot and keep testing before you progress, though, to make sure they can use the doors and stairs you make at various points. Have fun! 🙌
