Downloaded on onedrive

My sims automatically downloads on the onedrive along with the mods folder which gives me a very small limit as to how many mods/CC's i can own. I've searched far and wide on how to download it on my laptop rather than the onedrive but nothing has worked, the best i've found, the game downloaded but took away my ability to download mods. I would LOVE if anyone had a solution.
