downloading a custom save file

@breezyeom  Hi!  Adding someone else's save file to your game can be a little complicated.  When you download the file, check the file name and if it matches any of your existing save files, you'll want to change the file name. Note that if you drag the DLed save to your TS4 saves folder and a save exists with the same name, you'll be asked if you want to replace it.  At that point, you may want to cancel and rename it.  As long as you are not replacing / overwriting your current save, then your current sims will not be deleted, as they are contained in a separate save.

Before adding the save file, I suggest saving your sim / household to your library.  This way, you can save some progress and add them to to the downloaded save with all their current money, skills and career progress .  They will not retain any relationships or inventory though.  I hope this helps!

Edit:  One other thing you should be aware of is the packs you have compared to the packs used in the save.  You should be fine adding the save but if you don't have all the same packs, some CAS and BB items could be missing.
