[EBN] [GRO] Stayover guests getting ailments

The default stayover guests - the ones who call you to initiate a stayover - are pretty consistently getting ailments, because they almost all have negative moods, either sad if they come alone, or angry if they come in a group. Currently in a modded save, but pretty sure I've seen it in saves with mods disabled as well.

  • richvh Please run this test in your current save: Rename the Mods folder, delete localthumbcache, and play a while to see if it still happens. You can exit without saving. A new-save empty-mods-folder test can also help with figuring this out.

luthienrising I added the [GRO] tag, as I remembered that the stayover guests were added in Growing Together. The ones that invite themselves over have always been unpleasant, either arguing and fighting if they come as a household, or sad if they come solo, so I don't always let them come. Their behavior interacts poorly with the Ailments system from Enchanted by Nature, which is something I've noticed ever since Enchanted by Nature came out.

This doesn't apply to stayovers that you set up, as they don't have the scripted behaviors mentioned above.

I'm currently playing a new save with mods disabled. The Gomes household from Ravenwood has invited themselves over, starting Monday and as expected have been mostly angry. It is now Wednesday, and Zelmira has Gnome Lure while Tziporah has another ailment (which one I'm not sure, red welts on her arms.) Radwan seems to have avoided being affected. I think I've made my point.

  • richvh For excessive mean interactions, you can post in the existing thread in Bug Reports. It's not a issue specific to any one pack - it's a base game issue. How it interacts with other systems is a side effect of the base game issue.

luthienrising But the Growing Together pack is why there are excessive mean interactions during non-player directed stayovers.

  • richvh Yes, but it's still a base game bug about mean interactions that happens in other circumstances too. Please head to Bug Reports.

luthienrising I posted this in bug reports to begin with. It's not my fault that it got moved to mods and custom content.
