did it work with just a copy of your save but no mods ? If that works, you'll need to go through your mods.
So weird.. So i somehow fixed my game , it didnt seem to be a mod but more like something in my buildbuy. (Still have no clue.) i did the 50/50 method. the next weekend it started to happen again (yesterday) ive deleted everything ive downloaded since then and nothing changed. and one drive is not on either.
It could be something about the building.
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.That's the thing: I'm not getting any at all. i did Lumpinou's mod checker too and it says none of my mods are broken, outdated, or conflicting, and now my game wont even launch anymore. i have to take my whole mods file out for it to open... this is getting ridiculous lmao
Hello, did you manage to solve this problem? I have almost the same situation: I moved each small stack of custom mods from the mods folder to another folder, and then returned each stack to check which mod was not working (the so-called 50/50 method), and when loading the save, I found that the mods were working individually. The game begins. But every time I put all the mods in one folder, the game stopped loading my save again. This is absurd because I've been doing the same thing about 5 times for 8 hours, but I still haven't figured out which mod or something else is causing this error. Similar cases are not described anywhere else on the Internet (
