@andbrillant KiaraSims and JaneSimsten have confirmed their mods compatible with the patch. Whose was the other career? And do you get the error if you test vanilla? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. Do you get the error in a new save?
It's not yet clear if this is a game or a mod error. If it's a mod issue, it's not something that the studio has to address.
It was a blacksmithing career for my decades challenge save. I also had a separate blacksmithing activity/skill mod. I took both out to see what would happen. I still got the error.
When I took my mods out, I still got the error. I tried doing a save as and went into that new save. I still got the error. I’ve deleted the local thumb cache every single time and I’m still getting the error. Nothing is working.
I wish someone knew could tell me what the last exception I put in my original post meant. Lastexception.com wasn’t helpful.

@andbrillant It could be caused by removing a mod. The LE shows that the game is looking for something that's scheduled to happen that can't, or something along that line. However, it doesn't point to a specific mod or non-mod cause.
Just to clarify, is it *every* household you can't load, or a specific one?
Please also try this to see if you can get into a new save, and then we'll start retesting systematically with your older content to see if we can get you a working file before getting your mods back in:
- Rename or move the user folder so the game can create a new one: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling/
- Run a Game Repair through the EA App (if you're a Steam player, do the equivalent there)
- Start Sims 4
- Confirm that the game has no saves to load or resume
- Create a new save and load a premade house
Let me know if all is good with that. And sorry for not being around more yesterday to step you through next things!

I followed the tutorial link in your last message, and I was able to start a new save. The tutorial said to try adding things back in, so I added my saves back to the game and only added mc command center, UI extensions, and Andrew pose player. I got the error message again. I took out all my mods and tried to go into a save again and I’m still getting the error message.
Repairs aren’t working either. This patch definitely broke my game.

@andbrillant Okay, since you had career mods, try adding those back (unless they were freelance careers).
Also, what's not loading: the save or your household?
