@luthienrising I just checked the game without mods and worked! I don't have any of the mods listed in that thread. I did have TOOL and XML injector but I fully deleted them since I don't use them anyway. I have no idea why the game doesn't work when I re-enable them, though :/
Update: I was able to play for a short time without issues!! I updated MCCC and BE and deleted the old/outdated versions. I tried to save when I was done playing but it went into the eternal save screen again, and my Sim was moving around for some reason even though it was stuck on whatever in-game time I was trying to save on. I had to do a cold shut-down of my PC; I couldn’t even use the alt-tab quit game trick.
@simmerrogue Are you playing with only those mods, or do you have any mods that are neither updated nor confirmed compatible with the game?
If you play in a different household or save, do you have issues? If you play with no mods at all?
