Error Message with CC

Is there a reason why i keep getting an error message when i am trying to extract CC to the mods folder?

" this file does not have an app associated with it..."
anyone knows what this message could mean?

    It sounds like you are trying to open the .package file. It does not need to be opened/extracted. Just cut and paste it to your mods folder. Only files ending in .rar or .zip need to be extracted.
