Esc Menu keep spamming

Hiya everyone!

Has anyone experienced the ESC menu constantly spamming and interrupting the game quite often? I read online that it can be the UI cheat mod that causes it and the mc command centre which I have deleted, they were both up to date so they aren't outdated or anything. After deleting just the UI mod it seemed to have worked but it is doing it again and also now when I click on stuff the menu pop up is quite delayed. 

I have also repaired and made sure there is no updates but nothing has so far worked?

Has anyone had this before and how do I fix it?
