Explore option on Sylvan Glade tree doesn't complete

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.101.290.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Travel to Willow Creek, approach the Sylvan Glade willow tree and try to use the explore option, find yourself waiting 2 and a half hours waiting for something to happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? I don't get any pop-up telling me what to do or what interactions to take, I just get stuck until I cancel the explore option mid-way.
What do you expect to see? My sim enters the tree after clicking the explore option, Sim spends time in there then I get a pop-up after a few seconds.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Hello, first ever post. 
I've been stuck trying to get this tree's exploration option to work for the past  7 days and I've done whatever I could to try and make this tree's code cooperate, but It chooses not to see reason.
 I've tried removing any trace of a mod or CC off of my PC, I tried deleting the game and re-installing It, and even gone as far to try to find a mod to fix this issue, I've talked about It on Reddit, and seems like I'm not the only person with this problem, good to know the game doesn't hate me personally.
