Mmm I think I haven't spent that much time in the eye section of CAS. I mean the eyes you can only choose colors. Does that mean that the CC eyes add like new colors, that are new eyes?

The ones under Non-defaults show up in the eye category without replacing the default Maxis eyes. Use the Simfileshare link because the dropbox one doesn't work.

The zip file includes three versions, so the file that says BonusNondefault at the end is the one that shows up in eyes category without replacing.

These links are great! I might try out some of these. I really hate it when they are in face masks. Do you know if the default eyes actually work in genetics, like my kid will get the eyes from one of his parents or will it be totally random?

Yup! they replace alien eyes too! The second link also has a default replacement for alien eyes as well :) ( if you go to the first page of the downloads)

I think I'll try those out. I still don't understand how we can have more than one type of default eyes.

I really haven't tried out the default ones, so I just don't know how they work with genetics. I'm used to going back into CAS in full edit mode and just tweaking the eye colors if I need to.

Yeah I usually end up doing the same. Especially when it comes to hair. Most hair I have is CC

You can only have one default but you can have as many non-defaults as you want.

Non-defaults don't show up as face masks. They show up in the eyes section along with your defaults. The face mask eyes are contacts. Once my game finishes updating, I'll happily post a picture to show you want I mean :)

I mean I use non default eyes and they are in face masks which totally ruins everything cause I wish I could use some of those without getting the eyes remove.

I am quite confused with the default ones though :/ so if you could post a pic of those I would really appreciate it. I feel like I have some when the game came out but I can't find them in my mods file :/ I'm so annoyed I wanna replace it with new default eyes so I wonder if I download new ones they will replace the old ones. I wish we could delete CC directly from CAS and build mode :/

You have to delete the other defaults. I'm not sure if they cause a glitch or not but usually you have to take the old defaults out for the new ones to work.

@Orchid13 The ones I recommended to you, the Meteor Eyes and the Dreamin Eyes, that say "non default" in the link or file name, work like these. They do not replace the normal game eyes, but they do show up in addition to them so you can have both styles in your game alongside the Maxis ones and choose which ones to use on your sim (This is what I did in my game so I have a selection of eyes to use). They do not show up under face makeup. The links I provided do give you the option to have the face makeup version, or the default version, if you want them, but you only need to choose the ones that specify "non default".

Yep! The non default will allow you to have multiple eye sets in the eyes category. :)
