Fine emotional trait mod?

I would prefer my sims stay in a fine state longer, I hate the happy state and that constant creepy smile and obviously the uncomfortable, ect states are worse. But sims never stay long in fine state and i was wondering if there was like some mod that gave them a fine trait which meant they stay in a fine stay longer and aren't effected by most stuff bad or good.

Does such a thing exist?

  • Try using Meaningful Stores. I don't think it keeps them in the fine state, but it does keep them from jumping to different emotions all the time. Makes it harder to be happy, etc.
  • Ok so I've looked into mods, but I'm curious I know its rather easy to create custom traits now - what would I need to make a sim have a fine trait? like what would need to be buffed/changed to make them stay in a fine mood for a long time as a trait and not be easily changed?

Assuming you are using Zerbu's Mod Constructor, you might want to seek assistance on his discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/r9SrU9B
  • Just use meaningful stories by Roburky. It does exactly what you’re looking for. I can’t recommend it enough!

I'd rather make my own in this case, his mod has many moving parts and I've seen so many modders come and go. I'd rather just make a simple mod I can maintain. But thx for advice.
  • I can't answer your question about making your own trait. But I can recommend UI Cheats Extension, where you can just right click on the buffs and they disappear, so you can remove all the happy traits immediately. I dont think it'd give you a 'fine' buff, but it should make your sim fairly neutral. It's a pretty easy mod that doesnt seem to impact gameplay or anything, so it might be an easy one for a quick fix?!
