For Rent not working after download for months!

I bought the For Rent pack in early December, and it still isn't working. For starters, you know how when you buy a new pack and start the game a "welcome to __" pops up? I never got that. It says I installed it and I even tried repairing my Sims game. I got the welcome sign about two days ago after the most recent sims update, but no other issue was fixed. Secondly, I have the new hairs and outfits and CAS items, but the symbol on top that should be on top of every pack's items isn't there (ex. sulani as a tree, city living as a skyscraper, get to work as a briefcase). And Tomarang isn't available as a world! Some of my unplayed sims apparently live there, because instead of "currently not in world" or a world's name, it shows nothing at the bottom. I have very restricted access to apartments, as they glitch a LOT, to the point it almost seems like the whole apartment is a broken mod. I've tried getting rid of all mods and scripts, repairing my game, checking for updates, buying extra storage on my computer; you name it, I've tried it. Absolutely nothing is working, and It's a pain to know I spent my money on a broken pack that hasn't been fixed in 2 months. Please help!
