Furniture in Progress Disappearing from Workbench

When trying to create items on the Woodworking table, sculptures complete as normal but furniture does not complete or go into Sims' household inventory. It gets about 90% of the way there, then auto...

I am having the same issue, it has gone on through out multiple plays of this sim.

Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
