  • gloriousquickcan Do you use mods? UI distortion like that is usually mod-related. If you have anything other than resource.cfg in your Mods folder, rename that folder (this turns it into a backup folder) and delete the file called localthumbcache.package. Then try again. You can exit without saving.

gloriousquickcan You would start with the pinned resources at the top of the Mods Forum page - lists of updated mods, instructions on testing, etc. These are also always linked in the "Start Here" thread pinned at the side.

    Please try this test:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
    2. Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
    3. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.
    4. Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game when you open the gallery.
