game graphics glitchced out after update

I recently updated the Sims 4 and when i opened the game, the menu graphics and traits were glitched out beyond use, and the names and traits would not change when I switched from character to character.

Photos should be included.

I play with CC and i would like to fix this issue as soon as possible as I use the Sims for school (Character Design.)
