Game is bug after installing latest patch.

I just updated my game with the latest patch today, booted up my game, and went in to make sure all the relationships and boundaries markers in my legacy family were where I wanted them to be for the family... I tried to save... can't click save.... tried to exit game...couldn't exit. I had to Ctrl+Shift+Esc to hard close the game. Not sure if the boundaries/preferences saved at all. It literally makes my game unplayable, and, I rarely ever have issues with my game, even with CC.
