@Lexibwest05 @reaperxnekoxx @SnakeQueenMedusa As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether the issues persist.
If that doesn't help, please let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer. Please also let me know what antivirus you use.
I'm also having this problem, and I took your suggestion of removing the entire folder and playing the game. The loading issue was non-existent when I did that, and to answer your question, I do have OneDrive running on my computer.

@Wiktoria_Szyja That means something in the old folder is the issue, and you'll need to figure out what it is. Please see the post immediately above yours for more details.
