[patch 1.122] game opens to all-black screen with music (no words)

I am having the same issue. Its a black screen with no words and it just plays the main menu music. When I moved my mods to desktop it worked but when i used the new mods folder it made with all my old mods it would do the same issue. Even after i repaired my game.

DannyPhan8 Then you have broken mods, which is normal and expected when there's been a game update. Start at the pinned Broken and Updated Mods and CC lists for this current patch. See the part of How to Use Mods and CC about game updates.

No i don’t have words, just black screen and the music, oh i didn’t know thank you for this information, do you have list of those mods that are broken?

Ui cheats was the cause of my black screen(no words), even though there was an update, it doesn't work. I deleted the mod, and it fixed.

LadyQuett The current version at the Patreon post (nowhere else) definitely does not cause this.

I updated my game today and the first time i opened it, it was fine. I enabled my mods and then when i tried opening it, its just black screen. At first the logo appears and then the screen goes black. I can hear the game loading, the background music but all black screen. I’ve attached a picture below. How can i fix this?

7dbv19bx8glx Test if mods are causing this:

Rename the Mods folder

Delete the file called localthumbcache

Try again.
