Game reverted to previous save point after exiting CAS

I am not sure you can find it yourself. What happens when the bug occurs? I moved my family to a new house. I decorated a couple of rooms, saved and quit. I loaded the save again, decorated the rest of the rooms and started playing. My family's infant aged up into a toddler. I went into CAS to edit the toddler but the toddler was still showing as an infant. When I left CAS, everything had reverted to how it was when the game first loaded (the last save). It was as if I had loaded that old save file again and none of the stuff afterwards had happened. What do you expect to see? The game continues and doesn't revert to a previous save point when I try to edit toddlers in CAS. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No‌I don't know what to write here

@Bunnycuddles  Sounds like your game didn't save. Did you manually save before you went to CAS ? What happens if you save your game and then leave and reload, does that save properly ?

HelloThanks for your response. I don't think I was clear enough in what I wrote.After leaving CAS, I would not expect the game to reload to the previous save file. It should go back to where you were playing before you went into CAS.&nbsp;I selected CAS using the "Change Sim" option on a mirror and did not quit the game, return to main menu. The game didn't crash. It was kind of like a groundhog day thing!&nbsp;Normally you would go into "change Sim" and when you leave it, everything would be as you left it.&nbsp;I think I will load the same save again and play it the same way and see if the same thing happens, then I can try and get video/screenshot if it does.&nbsp;Sorry if I'm not making any sense, I barely slept last night (Not Sims 4 related though!)&nbsp;

@Bunnycuddles If the game writes files every time you have a loading screen. If it can't write those because of for example an antivirus program blocking the folder, things will revert.

So I'm wondering if you can normally save or if that also gives you issues.

Can you also try another save if you have the same issue ?

That makes sense. I have ran the same save again, but this time saved more often. The infant aged up and this time I was able to go into CAS and edit her without any issues. It is possible the issue may be my antivirus program, I have just remembered that I set an exception for Origin, but I recently got switched to the EA app, so I need to add that as an exception too!

Saving normally seems to be fine. I am hoping it was just a one off. I'll report back if it happens again after changing my antivirus settings.
