Game Settings not working

Hello!

Yesterday I updated my Sims 4 game through EA, then updated the EA app. After everything updated I went in-game to allow my mods. I opened Options and then Game Settings and got a blank pop up that said 'Ok' in all 3 areas where there should be 'Restore Defaults' 'Ok' and 'Apply Changes'. I was unable to close out of the pop up by the X and had to hit Esc. When I opened the Game Settings again the buttons at the bottom returned to the original BUT still a blank pop up. I still can't close using X and had to use Task Manager to close the Sims out. No matter how long I wait for it to load or fix itself its not working.

I have cleared my cache and repaired my game and nothing. Its still showing the same issue. I'm not sure what to do. I'm assuming its not the mods/cc I have downloaded since they aren't even turned on, even for precaution I updated mods and ran a mod manager just to be sure. Still broken.
