After evicting the household and moving it into an empty lot, the game finished loading. The original lot I had the household in was Hound's Head, the 64 x 64 lot in Brindleton Bay. I do have a bunch of items on the lot however, the game never had trouble loading before yesterday. After moving the household back into the original lot, the game loaded after a few minutes.

@JaylatheBookworm Sometimes Sims themselves get in a bad state causing errors when you try to load the lot their own. Moving them somewhere else resolves that.

So let me know if you have further issues.
