Game update broke build items

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Entering an existing save with a two storey house with columns.
What happens when the bug occurs? Columns from Get Together (basic ones that are just simple colours) are coming up without a texture (so with the purple texture with a question mark in it), and stairs are not visible. However, stairs are still there, as I can see the wallpaper on the sides of them, but I cannot see the steps themselves.
What do you expect to see? Normal looking build items

Please describe the patch or change you made. Started after latest patch (pronouns patch).

I updated my game to the latest patch (pronouns) and loaded in my save, only to get a pop up saying "items removed", the stairs being invisible (but still there), and the columns I used from Get Together for the house aren't textured. I used the really basic columns that only have solid colours.
