Game will not open on Mac (in need of desperate help!)

I haven’t touched the sims in about 5 months but I finally have found the time to get back into it again and I have spend around 3 days updating all of my mods in a system I have been doing for years...

Do you have icloud connected to your sims 4 stuff?

I think so, some of the files have a little I cloud icon next to them. How do I remove that?

I have the same issue and have done all that you did as well and it will not load. I'm on a iMac and my game isn't connected to my iCloud
