Game will not work with existing Sims 4 folder

Were you able to get your game fixed? I updated today and can't get my game to open at all.  Edit - split from irrelevant Mac thread, moved to Game & Mod forum, edited title to better reflect issu...

Same here, I play on Mac and since the last update from September 2023, my game won't launch. I have to force to quit every time. 

I moved the mods folder on my desktop and the game opened but got stuck on the launching page with the Sims 4 Logo and the blue background.

Help please, I don't want to reinstall everything and lose all my saves... We all know - us simmers - the struggle to rebuild, recreate and restart everything from scratches...

@Soloroses it wont work unless we reverse our update and lose a lot of things, I also made the mistake of updating my mac weeks ago and ever since I cant play my sims4 anymore unless I log into my fiance mac computer which is not compatible for the sonoma update thank God lol
