ISO mod that allows Sims to own multiple residential lots

While I do have every stuff pack, game pack, and expansion for this game and am aware of many workarounds to own multiple homes, none of them are quite what I want.

I know I can own a Residential and a Residential Rental. Or a Small Business. Or a Vet Clinic. Or a Retail venue. Or Restaurant venue, etc.

And I know that there are mods to allow Sims to own multiple lots, such as LittleMsSam's vacation home mod and ownable venues mod.

But all of these mods and workarounds require the additional lots to be zoned as not residential. It needs to be zoned as a vacation home or a venue of some type.

I am in need of a mod that allows my Sim to own both a Residential lot and a Haunted House Residential lot for storytelling reasons that would take too long to explain and aren't really relevant to this thread, anyway. But I need a mod that will let her own multiple lots without having to change the lot type, basically.

Does anyone know of a mod that allows this?

  • I know of no such mod. I suspect that this means, at this point, that this isn't moddable.

Well I have a SuperSim (a Sim who does everything there is to do in the game). She's lived in a haunted house in Brindleton Bay for several real life years now that I've grown very attached to; it holds a lot of family memories. But I recently got the Royalty & Legacy pack so, of course, I want my SuperSim to do all the nobility/royalty stuff.

She's married to Alexander Goth so I had the idea to have her family inherit some ancestral Goth castle in Ravenwood and live there part-time to do noble/royal stuff. Initially, I intended to keep the Brindleton Bay home as a Haunted House Residential and just have her purchase the castle as some type of venue lot that she can stay at whenever. But unfortunately, it turns out that she can't do any noble/royal stuff there because she doesn't actually live in Ravenwood. Her main residence is in Brindleton Bay.

I could make the Ravenwood castle her main residence and the Brindleton Bay home the venue lot, but the paranormal activity in the home is a large reason why I love it so much. It's practically become the home's entire identity over the years. So for sentimental reasons, I want to keep the house zoned as a Haunted House Residential.

Practically speaking, I just need her to be able to own both a Residential lot and a Haunted House Residential lot that she can use like a home. I am fine with not being able to manage bills and household events at the Ravenwood residence as long as she can carry out her noble/royal duties at that residence.

There are no playable ghosts in the household, and no graves on the lot with ghosts attached to them. The paranormal activity is from spectres that spawn on Haunted House Residential lots and ghosts that visit due to other spooky lot traits. I'm happy to make the Ravenwood residence her "main" residence as far as the game is concerned and use a command/cheat to allow her to assume temporary ownership of the Brindleton Bay residence while she's staying there. As long as the Brindleton Bay residence can remain a Haunted House Residential lot.
