Me too, my game isn't working anymore. I've tried everything—I've cleared my mods, I've tried putting the file in 'old,' but even with a fresh Sims 4 folder, the issue persists. I think Origin or The Sims 4 should look into the problem because many of us can't play after the Sonoma 14.0 update. This isn't normal. It's worth noting that this iOS update also introduced the 'game mode,' which might have conflicted with Sims 4 or Origin. I don't know what to do on my end; I've tried everything, and now I can't use Sims 4. ☹️(((((((

Same response to you, please provide the full specs of your Mac.
For info, this often happens after a patch update which, again, happened on the same day as the Sonoma release. Have you tried playing in a new user account on your Mac?
Game mode works great for me and other Mac users running Sonoma. To rule out game mode being the cause for you, did you try in windowed mode rather than fullscreen?- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora i have a 13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports, CPU: 2,4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, GRAPHICS: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB, MEMORY: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, running sonoma 14.0 I have unistalled both the sims and origin and still i cant even launch origin without it crashing

Either way, Origin issues should be reported in the Origin forum https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Mac-Client-Technical/bd-p/origin-technical-issues-en Origin is separate to the game.

Hi @aishaagram @jselbyfamily @schutzvikki and @Jorge9305. Given what at least some of you are describing, I suspect there are indeed mod issues here. A few tips on testing to see if it's mods:
- If you have an cooking/cookbook/recipe-type mods, leave your mods in until you've deleted all food and plates make with those mods, or test only on a new save.
- Do try testing pure vanilla: Drag Mods and Saves to your desktop, delete localthumbcache and everything else that says "cache", and try a new save. Then try putting mods back in gradually.

Didn’t you back up any files when you wiped and went back to Ventura? If you had backed up your Sims 4 folder you could carry on playing your saves.
